A- / 4.0

Appearance – Dark brown almost black, opaque, no head at all.

Smell – Coffee, darkly roasted malt, hints of chocolate.

Taste – Coffee flavor without the bitterness, the chocolate is a little stronger in the taste, the malt comes through making it a little sweet.

Mouthfeel – Medium body, low carb, smooth

Drinkability – Definitely a nice stout. Not overly amazing. I’d normally give this a B+, but I had it paired with an amazing desert spread at Finale Desserterie in Boston, and it was really good.
