Leinenkugel’s Creamy Dark
Reviews of Leinenkugel’s Creamy Dark
Appearance – Crystal clear dark mahogany with ruby highlights when light shines through. It has about 1 finger of light tan foamy head that dissipates quickly leaving lacing that doesn’t really stick to the glass.
Smell – Plenty of sweet roasted malt, some nuttiness, honestly it’s fairly light-weight on the nose.
Taste – Plenty of that sweet malt up front, hints of caramel and coffee, and it finishes with a light nutty flavor. The hops are nearly undetectable.
Mouthfeel – Light bodied, nice amount of carbonation gives it a little pick me up before it smooths out on the back end.
Drinkability – Not a bad beer at all. It’s not overly exciting, but it’s certainly drinkable.
