I’ve been asked by friends over the years if I ever use gluten free beer in my creations. My answer is always “no” because gluten free beer is just not my thing. I’m more of a traditional beer drinker. However, I do love the taste of beer that is made without gluten. In fact, my favorite beer is a New England Blonde Ale that I made in a week or so after I started the blog.

Well, I guess I can explain my love for gluten free beer. Its pretty easy to find gluten free beer when you live in the state where it is made. In the Midwest and Northwest, it is so common to see the stuff that it actually isn’t that hard to find. The problem is that many restaurants don’t make the stuff and they don’t make it well.

But if you can find it, then it is definitely worth it. A little bit of information about the beer can usually be found at most grocery stores. In this case, I was able to find a gluten free beer that was a bit lighter than the normal pale lagers. I tried it and it was tasty. The reason I liked the beer so much was because it came in a can.

I would like to thank a tipster for bringing this up. It’s about time someone gave these gluten free beers a try. Not only are they great for the price, they usually taste as good as the original.

As a kid, I remember having a beer made with gluten and it tasted awful. I never have, ever. But I was able to find a gluten free beer that tastes as good as the original and tastes just as good as the gluten beers I used to drink.
